The Godfathers Live Q-Factory Amsterdam May 16th 2026. British punk and new wave pioneers The Godfathers are going into the next round! Following the huge success of their Birth, School, Work, Death anniversary tour in 2023 and 2024. The Godfathers kickstarted 2026 with a brand new double A-side single. The release – featuring the band’s first new music since 2022’s acclaimed Alpha Beta Gamma Delta album. 40 years, 9 studio albums, old and new classics, the new wave pioneers around frontman Peter Coyne can look back on a brilliant career.With their second album ‘Birth School Work Death’, The Godfathers laid the foundations for the punk and new wave sound of the 90s at the end of the 80s and are still regarded as groundbreaking for countless bands, such as Die Ärzte. Their show will take you on a journey through time across the band’s extensive discography and a corresponding best-of set spanning four decades.
