We are organizing An Assembly of Local Folk, a community-focused, one-day festival in Amsterdam Oost on Saturday, November 14, 2026. A day for the wild, curious and earth-connected folk of our city to come together.

The event brings together local residents interested in urban ecology, foraging, hands-on craft and plant connection.Together, we reclaim our relationship with the land, our folk herbal wisdom, our autonomous crafts, and our third spaces of community care.

Location: Various locations across Amsterdam Oost (Starting at Park Frankendael, ending at NieuwLand)

A collective day of wandering · crafting · nature magic · ritual · conversation · foraging · fire · connection — with embodied explorations, practical workshops, things to make and do, and plenty of opportunities to meet other local folk. We’ll share skills, discover third spaces, learn from one another and explore different ways of relating to our local environment, the wild city and its other-than-human inhabitants.
